In a Nepalese village nestled in the heart of a forest inhabited by wild elephants, there lives a kinnar community that is both revered and feared for its powers to bestow blessings and curses. Pirati, one of the community’s mothers, dreams of escaping with the man she loves. But when one of her daughters disappears, she must investigate the mystery and choose between her desire for freedom and her responsibilities to her community.
Dans un village népalais niché au cœur d’une forêt peuplée d’éléphants sauvages vit une communauté kinnar aussi vénérée que crainte pour ses pouvoirs de bénédiction et de malédiction. Pirati, l’une des mères de la communauté, rêve de s’échapper avec l’homme qu’elle aime. Mais lorsqu’une de ses filles disparaît, elle doit mener l’enquête et choisir entre son désir de liberté et ses responsabilités envers sa communauté.
